I didn't even live here, my cousin did and this is what I seen just in the few times I was there. First, the neighborhood is not nice for children. More than once did my cousin have to argue w/ some 12-16 year old kids because they were picking on her 6 year old son. They are disrespectful, violent, rude, and the apartments doesn't care if they have knives on the playground, drugs, etc. Their parents don't either. Finally my cousin had enough and spoke w/ the office about moving out. She was going to come stay w/ me until she got her new place. She made arrangements, paying extra to move out, which I was a witness to, because she hadn't officially signed a new lease as long as she was out by the end of April. We moved her out. She paid the amount that was agreed on. In that time she got a notice saying she would owe twice that amount and when she called, the same girl told her, "oh we have a new manager and he is 'by the book', and doesn't know about the agreement." and it was supposedly straightened out. Since she has moved out of my place, but today a letter comes to my house advising she owes additional money for May's rent w/ some additional charges. It even says on the letter, "because you neglected to discuss payment arrangements w/ us before you vacated...blah blah blah." Way to keep it together Community Place. Let's make side agreements and not honor them at all. And for all the additional charges you are adding on there, um, you might want to fix up your grounds and take care of the constant criminal activity by minors going on around there. I grew up in a section 8, ghetto, gene-b-glick, west side neighborhood and they took WAY better care of their grounds, security, and responded to concerns. You haven't even graduated from Section 42 to a Section 8 and you are considered a ghetto slum neighborhood. Who do you think you are fooling' Absolutely gross and would never recommend living there to anyone.
