I have lived here a year so far and at first it was rough. What do you expect out of Indianapolis. I plan to renew my contract. All in all the place seems to be worth it. It is beautiful here. Yes we have had a few mishaps but nothing to big. Come on folks if you plan to live in Indianapolis use your head and remember it dont just happen at the cottages it happens everywhere.

I find it hard to believe that you have only have minimal issues and if so my guess is.....what you live in the office.... you are out of your mind.....I have long since gone...But I keep up there are still people that I know that live there...They are still having problems... They are lovely people not trouble makes....what do you say to them..."what do you expect you live in Indianapolis" Where do you suggest they live? Do you have a clue on the Crime free hot spot? I am a mother of 2 VERY small kids...My husband and I caused no problems with anyone....So would you say that when our vehicles were shot up and stray bullets came into our apartment...What?..Did we deserve that?...When not one even 1 month eariler the man in the townhouse across the street was murdered..... Look I do not begin to know why you are giving the rating that you are While I lived there there were 3 murders...another 5 shooting where at least 1 person per incident was injured...Not counting the endless amount of robberies and STABBINGS!!!!!! You call this safe And my stent there was only 8 months long....maybe you should do a little more watching the news....because the office is not going to share with you all of the bad things....Why don't you ask some of your neighbors....Or better yet...why don't you take you a lawn chair it hang out on Weibeck CT. for about about 8 hours once it gets dark on a friday but preferably a Saturday night {that when things always seemed to happen when I lived there}....I warn you though...Not so friendly out there you better stay hidden or bring yourself some kind of protection....and don't forget the kevlar....your gonna need it!!!!

If anyone thinks that The Cottages are nice, then they are either a working there, or a part of the problem. These are the worse apartments I have ever lived in. It has been a year since I lived there and I'm still upset with my experiance from there. As I said a year ago, and now, don't live there, it's just not safe!

my pride...you must work in the office. Can tell by your attitude by calling someone out because of their intelligence. What that person has said is true, maybe with this new property manager, we will see if any productive changes are made.

You are the problem trying to make good people move into there. That place is a danger to them and their families! I'm so glad i did not have any childrend when i moved into there. I would have moved out the same day I moved in. I lived in other places in Indy and they were SO nice. Cottages is crap and is going to stay like that until they raise the acceptance score and actaully do the criminal backgroung check that they say they do. The office has to step it up and do theur job. evict people with too many people in their homes or get the drug task force to investigate all the drig dealing. I now work as a leasing agent and thisn is all stuff we do to make sure no problem makers get into out complex. and we doccument trouble. If they have more than 3 insidents we evict them. Easy as pie. THe office is just scared of getting shot!

Well i lived in the cottages for about three months before i had to leave and everything about this place is horrible i can't believe that you have the nerve to say someone isn't intelligent for stating the truth. I have a son and a baby on the way i had to leave before anything else happened around me. My car was broken into, the apartment downstairs was kicked in in the daytime, maintenance never fixed anything, the office never returned phone calls, neighbors were loud and ghetto at all times, so what is it about this place that is good??? Oh yea did i say i moved in on june 21st this year and i am already gone?? You talk about what do you expect in indianapolis well i still live in nap in different apartments and i don't have any of these problems let people state their opinions you don't know them what school they went to what education level they have they probably make more money than you and have a higher education than you. The Cottages is crap and so are most of the residents and staff.

if you like to have the things that you worked for taken form you, or if you like for some one to push there way in to your house and rob you then this is the place for you! Glad to hear that you want to keep giving your hard erned money to a Nasty ghetto
