I've lived in the Cottages since 2006. Unfortnately, my money was not right for me to move at the end of my lease and I ended up saying for round two. But, please believe this will be the last year. On the first day of living at the Cottages, my son was shot with a bb gun by a group of kids (no lie). Just recently, someone busted my window out (second time this has happen) on Dec. 18. I called the emergency maintainance and they came out and taped trash bags on my busted out window. Mind you...Dec. 18= really cold. Anyhow, after weekly calls, I did not get my window fix until Jan. 8th after I told them I was not planning on paying my rent for Jan. until my window was fix. And there is the noise factor. OMG...there is no moment of peace. People let their kids run around, yell and scream all day and night. HELLOOOO, U may be use to your kids being loud, but u do have neighbors. Its not worth it. Nice area of town, but you would not think so by the kind of people who live here. You would do better living somewhere else. P0MtU6TIdDkM23RTonAS

Seriously, is anyone interested in doing something about these crooks? Maybe a class action suit. I know from experience that once you renew your lease(I stayed almost a year more than I wanted because of my finacial situation too) you can't withold rent as leverage to get things fixed. The management contends that if things are so bad, you shouldn't have renewed your lease. I can relate to almost every complaint listed in these reviews.
