This has to be the worst place I hae eer lied. I am so dissappointed liing here. It is sad to say that if we were around more whites this place would be better taking care of. The more ------- American/ ethnic groups the surroundings tend to suffer. We had our house broken into by our next door neighbor, house messed up.!!!This is March and we are yet to get our window fixed. I have gone down to the office and talked to a number of people and still nothing. It seems that they let anyone move in this place. I grew up in and around the hood and in most apartments in the hood have a better presentation and appearence. This place is a death trap, Kids everywhere, music loud at all times of the night. Now this is two fold. We do not do our part as well. On my side people throw garbage everywhere and it is sad to say that it is not all the kids. I have seen grown folks sling the garbage onto the ground day after day. We are known for not taking care of our areas, and you know who I speak of when I say (We). The laundry and weight room facility is a joke. The sad part is that this place has so much potential and can be top notch, but we as a people dont not stand up for anything. Now that Obama is in office do we stop trying to make a change' This is horrible. We need to stand up and let our voices be heard, becasue if we were white and this was a mostly white area, the facility would not be the way that it is. They hae the nerve to have neighborhood crime watch!!!!! huh!!!! The only time you see the police or anyone is when they are shooting or something has happened, so maybe we should be thankful that things are happening becasue that is the only way we will see the authorities.... Ridiculous, I am somtimes embarrased to have people over because of the way this place looks.

Ok know I live in these same apartments and I have also written a review that wasn't good. However I disagree with you on a few things. First of all how did your apartment get broken into? The person that broke in must have had a key because the doors can't be kicked in because, they open out. How do you know who did it (if it even happen)? Did you have a security camera set up? Did you watch them take your things? Ok the on site gym is a joke but, they do have several laundry facilites and as long as the people washing clothes would pick up behind themselves then everything would be okay. You stated that, "I am sometimes embarrased to have people come over because of the way that the place looks". Your place should not be a reflection of the apartment complex. Once your guest enter your apartment they should feel comfortable unless, your embarrased about your apartment! The grounds of the complex are fairly clean. I also don't agree at the racial comments that you have made. The area that I live in is very diverse, I live by whites and ------. The color of your skin doesn't determine how you live, people are people and nasty people come in all colors. You should have put some thought into your comment before you posted it.

I have to agree with the above poster.Dirty people and trouble makers know no race. I live here and my family is both white and ------- american and it is not about race. I see people of all color,race,etc throwing trash,fighting,not watching their kids.As for the crime watch ..the complex had several meetings and hardly anyone showed up. It is up to us residents to show up and show we care. If we don't who will?

Ummmmmm let me make this clear.... First of all my neighbors had my stuff becasue we saw him going to the garbage can with the majority of it...and they broke in the back basement window...where did you grow up at in a barn they are many ways to break into ones dwelling. Plus there were footprints leading to his back yard from our yard in the fresh snow. When we went to the garbage along with the police officer our stuff was in the bag well some of it along with our food from the refrigerator.. so dont come at me like I am some loony paranoid neighbor. To your next statement. Appearance is everything. Would this be acceptable if we were in fishers or Avon. NO!!! And you all are givine excuses, I was not being racial but honest.. Oh let me say "Some of my best friends are white" C'mom let us be real.There should be a standard were ever you go and garbage flying across the street becasue some are to lazy to put it in the trash is horrible along with people smoking weed and kids out past hours on a school day and this is not just is our area in other parts. And to you with the smart comments, I am not embarrased about my place of dwelling we keep our place very well clean and up to par, it seems that you just wanted something to say and had nothing else to do with your time. This place we all live in is a reflection of us, this is a community a reflecion of us wake up!!!! There are gutters hanging off of the apartments,if you go into the wooded areas there are diapers and beer bottles in eye sight. So when people come over into the complex they should not see things like this...I am sorry the laundry rooms are horrible!!! Dusty and stuff everywhere!!! The next time you just want something to say come with some valid stuff and make some sense of what you are talkng about.. (Did you have security camearas!!!!) What a joke... Well I talked to people in my area and no one knew anything about a crime watch so where did you get your info from the want adds?. Dont be ashamed to say the word black it is ok we live in a new time now....

I live here have been broken into ad the person used a key. we only have one key because we turned the other in. door was locked. Police say they come out mayb 10 to 15 times a month for the same thing. The apartments are everyhing you said they are.

I used to live there and my apartment window in the kitchen was broken into twice....nothing was done..... I don't belive that management does back ground checks to see who's who as far as leasing goes! Management don't really care who they move in...... See, it is all about money and numbers! filling up empty apartments and getting as much money as they can........staight up, these apartments are G A R B A G E! And we do need to do our part and stop being trashy and allowing our children to be trashy! Thank God for OBAMA! Never the less, we are still robbing and killing each other and it is embarrasing (In the Cottages)! So, I feel you!

This is scary because my family is looking to relocate and move into an apartment in the next month. I use to live there also, I remember lots of kids, my son being jumped at the play ground when he was 12 yrs old, he was also thrown in the pool, fully clothed by some stupid adult(a total stranger) that had no respect or regard for his safty, he rode is bike around the complex and some adult guy tried to take his bike, he had to chase the guy down and fight to get his bike back(luckily the adult was small and a punk, so he got his bike back, but it could have ended up very bad for my son),dirty diapers and lots of trash around the trash bens, the night we actually moved out there was a drive by shooting and my son and new husband had to run for cover while taking out the trash. I found the managers and the office staff very pleasant and the maintenance techs very nice and responsive. The apartments were very spacious and the pool are is awesome. My family loved the apartments and they requested that I look into helping them get an apartment there. I had hoped that time would have allowed the management team to realize the condition of the place and make some drastic changes. After reading the reviews, I am afraid to suggest that anyone move there. It's sad because there are lots of different floor plans and basements that are nice. I was told things had changed, that was a BIG LIE!!!
