They act like it is some huge privilige to live at this dump. They constantly send around notices threatening this that and the other. They say that under no circumstances will they discount rent because of unresolved maintanance issues. Say your heat is off all month or no water, well it's just tough tittie. A pipe burst in my building on Xmas eve and water ran into the apt. below for more than 24 hours, ruining everything. Did they get a days worth of free rent or any consideration from management at all - nope. Only those in desperate straits would ever consider moving in to this hell hole. No one who can afford anything else will ever sign on for another year of abuse.

I know the employees at Country Club. The resident mentioned in the above comment did have a plumbing issue on Christmas Eve. The employees responded the best they could and left celebrations with their families to do so. Vendors could not be reached due to the holiday. The employees worked until 1:00 in the morning. The resident did receive free rent. Not only did she not pay December's rent, and they had filed for eviction, but the manager at the time moved her and her family to the model unit. Her things were destroyed, as well as the carpet and drywall, because the water could not be extracted because she would not move her things off the floor (clothing, toys, trash, etc) The water extraction company came three times. On the third, they went around her things. She was comfortable in the model, what did she care? She ended up getting 2 months free rent before the court approved the eviction. She sued Country Club for damages and they in turn counter sued. The judge ruled in Country Club's favor. People like her give Country Club it's bad name.
