Was a great place to live, two years ago when i moved in.
Property has fallen to shambles, the apartments recently changed management but decided to spend a lot of the money on things for the office, whrily-gig signs and "free rent till July 1" signs to be seen from kessler blvd ( TACKY!!) The maintenance is poor- takes generally 3 weeks to fulfill a simple request. Both my Air & heat has broken down many times... They have you split the water bill between all residents.. Regardless of how much water you actually use( not to mention all the units that have washers and dryers- which is not in my unit). The building near me had a fire recently- careless workers in and out all day long, blocking spots, dumpsters and porta/potties. The gate is often not working in this "gated community"- with the front gate open everyday- easy access for anyone who wants to enter. Break-ins listed in many areas in and around the community.

I live there too... and I've been trying to get a faulty dishwasher replaced for 2 years. Faulty not only as in does not work correctly, but faulty as in has tripped a breaker twice and started smoking once. Right now it's full of water that won't drain, and they won't come fix it because "it's not an emergency." They won't make an appointment because they "don't know when the maintenance tech will be there" - that's because instead of the 2 we're supposed to have, we have one we're sharing with another property. I've been trying to get a broken drawer fixed since November. My patio door came loose from the wall because the foundation is sinking, and it took a month to get someone to look at it, in the dead of winter - I had my dog's blanket stuffed in the crack to keep the cold air out. And as for the "not an emergency" nonsense - last summer my AC went out, it was 94 degrees, and it still took 3 days because the office didn't want to call in maintenance on a weekend.
Right now it's impossible to park, because apparently there are no longer the rigorous requirements to live there that used to be in place, and everyone has 2 broken-down hoopties and no job. A few weeks ago there was a dirty diaper on the lawn a foot from my patio, and shortly before that an entire bag of trash on the lawn. Yet the office sends out nasty-grams threatening people for having grills on their patios and making everyone have flowers approved before planting them so they fit with the "theme" of the property.
My lease expires soon, and I'm pretty sure I'm done. For the rent I pay there, I could rent a decent house for less and not have to deal with the attitude.
