I moved in here in Dec 08. I really didn't want to, saw lots of traffic in and out loud music in cars and lots of people hanging out outside. This was in Dec I was thinking summer is got to be worse. My boyfriend assured me it couldn't be that bad. We couldn't afford alot so I ignored my gut feelings and got the apartment. That was the day I learned to trust my feelings!!! My apartment was pretty nice. It had been updated with new stuff. Outside was another story. The only problem I had with the inside was roaches. Big problem!! The neighbors where nasty. So it didn't matter if you sprayed it didn't work because I think roaches had taken over the buildings because other people I had talked to also had the problem. Mind you I don't think half of them cared! Dumpsters where always overflowing. Loud music from cars and other apartments. 2 shootings one right outside my apartment called police but of course no one was there when they got there. Fights all the time. People hanging out all hours of the night. Police practically lived there! They had like 3-10 people living in the one bedrooms. Couldn't ever find parking. If you are a women you get hit on almost every time you are outside. I lived there with my boyfriend, but they still did. Hallways upstairs are so dirty. I had to clean it myself. They would just sweep with a broom and spray something instead of using a vacum. We had to put blankets up over the windows in the winter because the cold air blowing in. There are two pools, but don't exspect to swim much they are always changing the water, because the water is so gross from all the dirty people swimming in there clothes. Babys with diapers on. Doors are not sucure. I slept with a couch up against my door when my boyfriend wasn't there. The laundry place is a joke. I just started going to the laundry mat down the street. The shell gas station is not a safe place. Like one person said you couldn't pay me to live there!! These comments go as far back as 2003. So it doesn't look like it's going to change. If this is all you can afford I understand because this was my situation. If you like living here you are just trash I'm sorry.
