Years at this apartment: 2005 - 2006
I moved to Indianapolis last year for a job and had little help with finding an apartment. I relied heavily on the information provided in advertising guides as well as this Web site. That's how I came to find Crooked Creek, and I've enjoyed every minute.
The biggest reason I was drawn to the place was the fact that every unit was stocked with a washer and dryer. Although a little small, and the dryer takes twice as long to dry as regular-sized machines, they've both worked well. I had one problem with my dishwasher; the problem was addressed the following day, and I had a new unit installed before the week was out. I once broke the do-hickey inside the toilet tank and maintenance was there in twenty minutes. Parking has never been a problem, and the complex is extremely well-lit, which is especially nice as I often work late and return after the sun has gone down.
My lease is up for renewal in June, and I was considering moving into another place, not because I had any problems with Crooked Creek but because I wanted to try something different. After combing through these reviews, though, I'm starting to think it'd be smarter to renew my lease and upgrade to a two-bedroom. Reading about problems with other complexes made me realize how lucky I was to find this place at all.
