I had a first floor, one bedroom apartment. My electric bill was through the roof for the first two months. The reason being that the two windows in the bedroom kept about as much air out a a pair of fishnet stockings would if you hung them over a hole in the wall. Do they care' As long as you pay rent, they won't evict you. Nor will they help you. Covering the windows with vinyl was all i could do. The carpets were filthy when i moved in, and they charged me for them upon move-out. Upon sending me the bill, I find that they've charged the last month's rent TWICE. I have in my posession a paper stating I paid rent on the third of my last month in the lease under "credits", followed by a $490 charge for the same month's rent, and the $15 pet fee, even though just above it, they've acknowledged my payment. Their bookkeeping is atrocious, parking is a joke, and the floors/ceilings are paper thin. Avoid this place at all costs. You'd be happier in the dumpster behind subway.
