I have not had a pleasant experience with Decatur Woods. It is poorly managed and they are not upfront with you at all. I was told I was signing a 13 month lease for a certain discount. Turns out the lease was written for a full 14 months because I moved in 2 days into the month. I have also heard from my neighbors, that even if your pet no longer resides in the apartment, they will continue to charge you pet rent. It is very unsafe there, as my neighbor's apartment was broken into repeatedly. The police officer on duty in the apartment complex never showed up. Local law enforcement had to be called. Also, maintenance never arrives in a timely fashion. It took three weeks before someone came out to look at my toilet that constantly ran.

This is the worst place I have ever rented from.
