Not That Bad

I have lived at Deercross since September 06. Everytime I have called with a maintenance request, it is fixed that day. (Usually I call from work in the morning and return to find the problem solved.) The one exception is water damage in one place on my ceiling, which maintenance cannot fix so they are calling a contractor.
The office staff has been extremely helpful and polite, and my neighbors are (for the most part) quiet and very respectful. There is the occasional person blasting the bass on their music, or a dog barking, but I would say 90% of the time these things are not a problem.
Deercross has been my first apartment experience and for the past four months I have seen no car break ins, no drugs, and no shady characters hanging around. Yeah, there is the occasional party, but they are still respectful of their neighbors in keeping the noise to an acceptable level.
Yes there are things they need to work on, but for the most part I have been please with my experience.

OH GET SERIOUS. IT IS AWFUL, I HAD TO BREAK MY LEASE AND MOVE BECAUSE OF THE DRUG DEALERS AND BABY DADDIES' BEATING ON THE MAMA'S. THIS IS SO OBVIOUSLY PLANTED. THE PLACE IS HORRIBLE........UNLESS YOU ARE A DEALER OR A CRACK HEAD THEN IT IS A PARADISE.

I think it depends on the building you live in and your neighbors. I have lived here for a year with few small problems and it's pretty quiet. Recently a couple new neighbors moved in and I now smell drugs reguarly and the occasional loud fight. I am soon to contact the management about this. So far they have been helpful about everything else. You have to actually complain to management or even call the cops if you ever have drugs in your building. It's not their fault and they won't know if you don't tell them, duh.
