I wouldn't recommend this apartment complex due to lack of knowledge of office staff. I asked an employee of the office what it costs to repaint a room if I painted it, I was quoted $20/room. Therefore, I painted my room to make my place more personable. My roomate did so as well. However, when we were going to move out I was told to repaint my room it would cost $20/wall, and $20/coat, depending on who I asked. So easily stated the office staff doesn't know their own rules! We lost our deposit and had to pay extra for the paint job, even though we were misinformed multiple times! Not to mention we didn't get a notice of when our lease was over, making us pay an additional month at a higher price, my roomates bike got stolen and my dryer had problems following a leak in our building. I DO NOT recommend this place due to the multiple hassles my roomate and I experienced.

Well I would suggest that you ALWAYS get things like how much you will be charged by management in writing, so that was a little bit your own fault. As far as when your lease was over that should be in your lease agreement before you even sign it, so again that was your own ignorance. You are probably young and a little naive apparently since you basically caused yourself undue stress and are blaming management. I don't even live in the same state as you but it's clear that most of what you mentioned was your own fault.
