Glad to be gone

After 12 painful months living here, we must say we are glad to be gone. We've had endless changes in management--some want to play by rules and some don't, but usually only when it benefits them! We should have known to just walk away when we had to call and speak with their corporate manager before we even moved in!
I empathize with the "cohabitating with wildlife" writer. We had six birds in our apartment. After several explanations to maintenance, they finally believed us that they were coming in from our dryer vent in the wall. This, of course is in addition to the mice!
Besides seeing studs through our wall, our door frame looked like it had been bashed into and wasn't even flush with the wall. Various places in our apartment didn't even meet drywall with ceiling, so there'd be a huge gap between the wall and ceiling. Toilets didn't flush, doors didn't close, and there was an inch gap under the front door between the door and threshhold. I was told that maintenance had just been throwing work orders away!!!
This is a place that we are thankful to be away from. Most people say you'll have problems with any rental experience, but I must say I've never had one quite as bad as Eagle Pointe
