The day we were supposed to move in the carpet was soaking wet...so wet that our shoes were dripping with water. The carpet was also torn at every single seam and it smelled like there were 50 cats there before us. The kitchen counter was so warped that a bottle of water slid right off.

Of course, they show you the beautiful model when you are looking and then they put you in a piece of junk. When we went to the clubhouse to complain that the apartment wasn't ready, we asked for the manager and a woman said she wasn't there. So we demanded for her number or the corporate office and then asked for someone to come to the apartment so we could show them. A little brat kid sped through the complex about 65 miles an hour in a banged up Mustang and screeched in front of the apartment and decided that a fan would fix the carpet! We later found out that the girl that we talked to at the office was, in fact, the manager. She claimed she was scared because we were so upset that she was afraid to take responsibility. What kind of people do they have running this place'

So after that, they gave us a "better" apartment for the same price as the one we were supposed to have. Whoa! Then we realized we had mice, a huge bug problem, and maintainence didn't show up until we came to the office with a digital camera and threatened to send the pictures to their boss, whoever that may be.
