I lived in Echo Ridge and at first thought it was a great place, paid my rent on time, never had an issue till the day I moved out. We did a walk though with maintenance supervisor, everything was signed that no damage and everything was ok and that I owed nothing. Then I call them 2 months later and ask where my deposit is and now they are saying they have discrepancy with my apartment and they are now charging me aroung $700. Crazy, we contacted the regional manager and she said it was not in her budget to talk with us that we would have to take our issue up the the manager which was on vacation. The day she returned she was fired and so was the maintenace supervisor that did our walk through. Now they have turned us over to collections and are ruining our credit so I guess signed legal documents don't count in their eyes....So, I say watch your back because they will stab you when they get the chance.

If they have breached the contract and have not refunded your money. You should get an attorney and file a suit against the company for breach of contract lost moneys with interest since the first monday of the month in the wall street journal prime lending rate. then sue them for slander for hitting your credit. then there is mental anguish, lost work to visit lawyer. they are so stupid here. a retainer should only be 500.00. but worth the fight to make them have a pain in the butt.
