As a former tenet of the Edgewater Apartments I could not be happier to have moved. The location is pretty good and the other tenets are just fine but the experience of living in these apartments was COMPLETELY ruined by the horrible couple that runs the place, Jim and Georgia. I really wish I had found more reviews of this place before I moved in, had I looked further I would have found the complaints about their awful attitudes. If you live here never expect to be treated with any form of respect or as if you are actually paying to live in your apartment, they treat you more like you living there is a burden upon them. I had zero privacy, my apartment was walked into on numerous occasions. Jim would knock once and them immedidately walk into my apartment. Please do not think I am exaggerating when I say that i literally woke up to him standing in my bedroom. Girls beware, you will never feel at ease once this starts. As if a complete and total lack of feeling safe and secure was not enough, they are downright tude to you. I once called about the dryer not working (a very common occurance) and was treated like a conartist trying to scam $1.25, when I was locked out of my apartment it took 2 hours to get a hold of them and then was chastised for interrupting their dinner with my problem. All in all it was a horrible experience, one I would lilke to warn all against getting into. I wish I had seen this review before getting trapped in a year long lease from hell.

I lived in this apartment complex for many years. EVERYTHING said in this review is completely false and made up. The management could not have been better and because of them riff raff like the person who wrote the previous review become angry when they are not allowed to break the rules. How sad that this person would try to destroy the reputation of this business and the individuals running it by making such slanderous and false accusations. I knew the lady who wrote the previous review, and she was known by most of the tenents to be a liar and possible drug user. I would recommend this apartment complex to any of my friends or family looking for a well maintained, quiet, peaceful place to live.
