I think it depends where you live in the complex. I lived on the Lakes side a few years ago and had no complaints. It was a quiet, clean, friendly environment.

This time when I moved in, they moved me into the other side of the complex, which is Section 8 (which I didn't know until after I moved in). I find the hallways to be much dirtier, louder music, my neighbors cigarette smoke comes up through the pipes into my apartment, and it is quite common to not be able to park in front of my building. All of my neighbors are what I would consider trashy. I haven't had any trouble to speak of (except my car got egged once), but I prefer to live elsewhere. As I said above though, living on the Lakes side, I did not have ANY of these problems. I think it completely depends on where you are placed.
