I lived at emerson village from sep 07 to sep 08. Constant car thefts, burglaries, drug sales. I even was a wittness to one of the maintenance guys getting in a situation with the police and threatening another resident. i would not reccomend living here. First mgmnt co was fine, well at least they did repairs in a timely manner. then was sold to some crackpot outfit in jan 08. when i moved out i was cleared from any damages as i left the unit in move in condition. i recieved a move out list that was signed by one of the leasing consultants stating that there were no damages and i should recieve my deposit within 30-45 days. well, its now the end of december and i am still getting the runaround from the leasing manager. i have called them 4 times in the last 45 days and she always says the she will have to look into it and call me back. she has not once called me back on this measly matter of $100.00. not very professional at all! to me its not really about the money but, moreover the principal! these people are not credible and i would not rent from this apartment period!!!

furthermore, several posts down i would suggest reading the review about the new owners.
