Although I love my apartment the staff and area is terrible.
My air conditioner wasn't fixed for days around the hottest time of the year. My steps crack in half beneath my feet and they don't replace them until they DO break, even if I warn them way ahead of time.
I have to hassle them to get anything done and it's really time consuming and annoying. I'm probably better off trying to fix anything myself. They don't seem to care.
The police are out here all the time. There was a shooting and a time where a group of guys was beating a car with baseball bats and running a truck into it.
The lake is very pretty, until you get close and see all random objects that have been thrown in there, like furniture and bikes.
I don't hear very much through the walls, so that's nice and this place is really cheap. I like my apartment itself but I'll definately be getting out when my lease is up.

These would have to be random incidents. I have lived here for 3 years and although the staff has changed I have had no problems with them. I heard about the car being smashed but I was told that it was the car owner who was smashing it. Again, a random incident. I love it here and I will continue to live here until I buy a home or if I have to move out of town for any reason.
