I lived in these apartments for over 4 years. I had numerous issues with the management, maintenance and the overall safety of the apartment. I found mold, and various other issues. The laundry room in the apartment complex was always broken and the dryers NEVER worked. I spent more then $20 to do 2 loads of laundry all the time. I finally had to start hauling the laundry to a lundromat. My biggest problem was when I tried to get out of the lease because I was relocated. They want me to pay 2 months rent on top of a 60 day notice. I told them I was relocating due to buisness and they were rude and told me that I could live in my apartment for the 60 days that I gave the notice. NOWHERE In the lease does it state what happens if you break the lease. I moved and they rented the apartment the same month I moved and they still expect me to pay the extra $2000.

What cracks me up on this one is there are SIGNS that say "Mgmt not responsible for laundry" - and EVERY machine has the phone # to report problems to. And you had furty stuff (mold) somewhere? That meant you would have had a source of water and mildew preceding your furry infestation. OH I bet maintenance didn't take care of your numerous complaints about a water leak right? Interesting how you posted this AFTER you decided to break your lease and be subjected to the penalties of such. Seems when people don't get their way, after 4 years in your case, thats when ALL these "problems" manifested. 4 years is a long time - why didn't you leave after year 1 - or 2 - or 3? Were you chained down in a 4-year lease? Guess you didn't read the lease properly - trust me it IS RIGHT THERE!!!
