Safe and quiet but not perfect.....

I've lived here for almost 3 years now and it's okay. It went from nice and quiet to loud and trashy, then back to quiet so I'm wondering how long this is going to last. Parking is horrible, especially when your neighbors come home drunk and park like an inch away from your car, literally. The office ladies are very friendly, however, if you need to put in a work order for maintenance you should take the time and go down to the the office and talk to them personally to make sure they put the work order in. If you call, 9 times out of 10, it won't get done. I went 4 days without a/c because of that happening. Maintenance usually doesn't come unless it's an emergency such as a broken a/c or heater or a leak. It took two weeks for them to fix my garbage disposal, and my window got cracked by a construction worker and it took a month to get a new one. This place has looked horrible for a long time, but they are finally remodeling the whole complex. I have heard of some break-ins in apartments, but most of the people that happens to are drug dealers. Disturbance-wise, if you don't want to hear your neighbors I suggest getting on the third floor because if not you hear everything from someone peeing to someone's microwave going off. I got sick of hearing about my neighbor's life so I transfered to a top floor apartment, which is the best because you hear nothing. Overall, Fisherman's Village is a nice place to live, but I'm pretty sure there are better places. Look around before you move here.
