2 1/2 year Nightmare!

After living in this proverbial hell otherwise known as forest hills I felt it was my duty to inform others about this apartment complex.
Moving into Forest Hills was the worst mistake of my rental life. To name a few issues we have had 3 drive by shootings, numerous DEA stings (one was my upstairs neighbor)to bust crack houses, drug dealers and prostitiution rings. If that wasn't enough we had a child abducted from the complex as well. This place is not safe. We had police officers move in to the complex but manangment decided to have them move "because it was bringing occupancy below 90%". Manangment does not care about the safety of their residents and only care about their bonuses.
Other issues include maintenance of the apartments and grounds. It took 8 months and 3 calls to the corporate office to get my hot water heater fixed. I was also promised new cabinets in my kitchen within a month after moving in. Needless to say 2 1/2 years later the same rotting, broken, falling apart cabinets are still in my kitchen. All sinks, bathtubs, and countertops are painted with indoor latex paint so you can expect paint chips in your bath, dishes, and while brushing your teeth.
In conclusion Forest Hills is one big nightmare. Personal safety cannot be guaranteed. The rent is cheap and the apartments are huge but does that outweigh your own safety and that of your children' x-2PE3sjUIIeetAHoKOk
