When we went in to sign our lease we were told that the apartment was ready except the carpets. They were being cleaned that afternoon. The carpets should have been burned, not cleaned. It looked as if the previous tenants had been working on a car in the dining room. We also had our move in list with several items on it that needed to be fixed ASAP because we had a baby that was crawling and into everything. When we asked the manage Tony about it, we were told the parts would be in in two weeks. Two weeks came and went. We asked again and were told two weeks. Mind you, the carpets STILL hadn't been cleaned. And, we had roaches. Usually roaches stay in the kitchen, maybe the bathroom, but they were all over the apartment. Even in the bedroom. YUCK!

Finally, I put a call into the corporate office. For taking two weeks to get parts they sure came available quickly. They were out that afternoon to fix everything. The carpet guy came the next day. He said the carpets had NEVER been cleaned.

They have two playgrounds . . . that are not usable. There are no swings, the play area used to get to the slide is not attached to the slide and their is tagging (gang stuff) all over the equipment. So much for my little guy being able to play there.

The laudry room is huge, but the washers don't work right and the driers eat quarters. The worst part is that there are no signs saying they don't work. Unless you count the words don't work that are carved into them.

The crime was pretty bad. When we lived there we had several domestic things, a murder suicide, rapes, robberies, assaults, oh and did I mention the kids who decided to play with fireworks and caught one of the buildings on fire'

The management was changing as we were leaving. Unless they have made some HUGE changes, I would suggest looking elsewhere.

Roaches yes! But soon as the masive mexcian family moved out our problems ceased. They are good about getting pest control out here. But if you niegbors are slobs does you no good,
