I lived in two different apartments and they were both full of black mold. Not visible but it is behind the walls, cabinets and bathtubs. Kept smelling it and finally saw some on the kitchen wall when they pulled out the cabinet it was thick with black mold. Kitchen flooded often, mold was under the linoleum amd carpet. I had to report it to the health department to get it fixed. I moved out and would not recommend this place to anyone. The bad thing is that they know it is there, and they continue to put tenants health at risk. The only way to get action is involve the health department. I would recommend moving, they will let you out of your lease once you report them. Take pictures and keep good records, they are at fault and liable. Don't believe anything they tell you!!!

Welcome to apartment living! Not to say some aren't worse than others. Most, if not all apartments have mold somewhere. So do most homes. Even new places have mold. Work places? You becha! So my advice is to get over it, and move on with your miserable life.

I can not believe this jerk! It's Ok to rent apartments to people with balck mold? People who have little babies and children, which if you do some research, you will find is extremely harmful to them. It is harmful to everyone and some people don't have good credit and can't just move out. And many of them same people have no money to move even if they could! These people allowing this to on should fired, sued, and put in jail!

I just can't believe this -------! Our lives would not be miserable if we and our children's health wasn't at risk. While many place have mildew/mold...black mold is found and by state board of health regulations, should be removed!!! Not sprayed with kilz! Even corporate thinks that kilz is the first step! Nope ,but it is the cheapest and we believe it because we believe they are required to do their jobs. Maybe they should all have training on mold and mildew or ----, DO SOME RESEARCH!!!!!!!!
