Okay so if you like rude staff, zero parking, paying too much, the biggest wolf spiders you've ever seen, having the closest grocery store about 20-25 mins away, live at canal court. I like many other people, visited canal court and thought, oh my gosh this place is amazing. Everything was basically brand new, I had a fireplace, swimming pool outside my window, what more to ask for, right' Well, wrong. I lived there starting in January. Parking was a major problem, so I got a garage (which was located on the other side of the complex) for entirely too much money a month. Living on the first floor is like having a 24 hour a day peep show. I was willing to deal with all of these things until spring hit. When the snow starts to melt and it warms up, you will have unwanted visitors in your apartment. What do I mean, I mean SPIDERS, not little house spiders which everyone deals with, I mean wolf spiders (1 day I counted up to 20.) If you tell the office they will blow you off. So, the spider problem got so bad one morning I woke up and thought there was a mouse on my floor to find another wolf spider. (people they are huge..) I actually ended up paying my rent and living with friends at canal square because I could not stand it anymore. It is sad that living in Indy could have been such a great experience and because I lived at Canal Court, I have terrible memories.

Wow, that spider situation sounds really bad. I personally don't have anything that bad in my unit, although there are a couple bugs. I'm surprised to hear that the office staff blew you off. They usually respond to my complaints very quickly.

As for a grocery stores, 20-25 minutes is ridiculous. You can drive to ANY grocery store in the city and some of the suburbs in 20-25 minutes. And there happens to be a grocery store in downtown, O'Malias, that's only a 3 or 4 minute drive away.
