When I first moved into Harbour Pointe, I thought it was great. Maintenance fixed every problem I had the same day I put in the request. On the flip side of that though my laundry closet door has broken off its track three times now which makes me question the quality of the maintenance staff.

I used to feel fairly safe living at Harbour Pointe, but recently I've begun to feel differently. The security systems in the apartments are a bit of a joke and I am beginning to think they are just noise makers. Also, last week my vehicle was broken into while sitting under the "security spotlight". I actually think it may have been an aid to my assailant who remove my cd player and located my cd's with ease. I realize that vehicles get broken into, so I've decided to invest in a car alarm. Now I'll have a noise maker for my apartment and my car. Hopefully they'll act as deterrents.

All that being said, staff have been friendly, and have promised to step up security. I like the location, minus the localization of car thieves in the area, and I plan on staying for awhile, as long as I continue to feel reasonably safe.

What kind of cd player? I'm sure that could be a reason to the break in.
