The office staff changed three times in the 12 months I resided at the Harness Factory. The maintenance staff changed equally as frequently. Hence, the staff was never familiar and/or friendly with residents. Further, I put in a maintenance request on January 21, 2002. As of the date of this comment (07/29/02), it has still not been corrected. One week I left three messages for the office staff regarding this problem. NOT ONE of the three calls was returned. The courtesy officer in the building was very helpful and reliable, but to my knowledge, the complex either no longer has this officer or has a different officer. Parking is a nightmare at this property, and the management company provides no reasonable and/or affordable solutions to this problem. Notices of walk-throughs, general building maintenance, etc. are not timely. I once received a notice that the water was being shut off a day after the water was actually shut off. The elevators are often out of order and the laundry facilities are dirty and disgusting. The common areas of the complex are dirty, worn and not cleaned on a regular basis. The rent is high for such a poorly kept place.
