- absolutely no privacy. you can hear EVERYTHING, as if your neighbor was in the same room with you!!!!! - overpriced, and FALLING APART. - maintenance is VERY SLOOOOW to respond and they're CREEPY. - these places need remodeling BADLY. kitchen appliances are ancient. microwaves and ovens don't even have digital timers. - office staff is RUDE, NEVER THERE, and will promise you things that YOU WILL NOT GET. - laundry is VERY EXPENSIVE (1.25/load to wash plus about 2.50/load to sufficiently dry clothes) - parking is SEVENTY dollars/month, and the spots are so narrow, your car WILL get scratched and banged up... GUARANTEED. - when your friends come to visit, they will NOT find a place to park. especially if there is any kind of event going on, or if it is friday or saturday, FORGET HAVING COMPANY, it is impossible. - LOUD MUSIC and YOUNG, COLLEGE KIDS PARTYING CONSTANTLY. - hallways STINK of cigarette smoke. - windows are so old, they LEAK. my unit was BAKING in the summer, and FREEEEEEEZING in the winter. this was hell on my electricity bills. - and be prepared to deal with homeless people BEGGING you for change in the parking lot every day.
THIS PLACE IS A TOTAL NIGHTMARE. i have lived downtown for 9 years now, and there are MUCH NICER complexes downtown for your money. STAY AWAY!
trust me- i have lived in apartments for over 12 years... don't spend your hard-earned dollars on this dump.

I don't know why you're so surprised that you have to "deal with homeless people BEGGING you for change in the parking lot every day." Sadly, this comes with the territory of living in the downtown area of any major city. I have just moved to downtown Indianapolis from downtown Boston - I lived in the Beacon Hill/Back Bay area, which is considered very upscale, but we had scores of homeless begging for change, and physically assaulting people in the area. It seems that you want it all, and aren't prepared to take the bad aspects of living in the city with the good. I suggest that you move to Hamilton County if you can't handle the "big city" and its problems.

Dear BostontoIndy...If Beacon Hill/Back Bay is so upscale why don't you try having an UPSCALE attitude?? People are entitle to voice their opinions and concerns and if this is how this person feels, it's okay...seems you have spent a lot of energy dissing this person because of what he/she said. I have always heard that people from Boston Mass. were not friendly and very racist, I'm beginning to believe it!
