I live near the burned out building. I often wonder when Arlington Properties is going to do something about it. They aren't from what it appears. Though a dumpster is on the grounds maybe Health and Hospital Of Marion County is making Hillcrest do something about it. I moved in to a stopped up toilet and bathtub. I had it happen again 4 months later.
The office staff have no freaking clue what's going on here. They lost the records for the garages so they had squatters for years. I finally got a garage to store a motorcycle. I sure as heck wouldn't leave it outside.
Topping it off, my lease isn't up until 4/1. I got a letter saying my lease was up 2/28. Hey if they'll let me out of this dump early I'll be glad to get out.
As far as safety goes, I carry a pistol loaded with hollow point bullets everywhere and sleep with it on the nightstand. What does THAT tell you'
