I have lived here at Horizons for 5 years. When we moved here it was suppose to be temporary but financial circumstances changed that. We live in a 2 bedroom townhome. It isn't very spacious but we knew exactly what it looked like going in. We were shown a 2 bedroom model and given the measurements and square footage. The rent is very reasonable for this area. We like this area because of the school system and we couldn't go anyplace else and get a townhome for this price. Of course it has its problems. The places are old and need some improvements. The doors and windows are very drafty and you have to winterize to be able to keep the heat regulated. We have never had any problems with vandals or neighbors. They keep the grounds nice and maintenance has always been prompt. The pool area is very nice and kept up and they just got a new playground for the kids. Management has always been very helpful. There are things I would change but where could you live that there isn't things you would change. I would recommend it for anyone looking for a nice place that isn't looking to spend a fortune on rent.

This sounds like an inserted staff review. It even has incorrect grammar just like the staff!

I assure you I'm a resident. I never said this place was perfect. Far from it. I am just saying that for the price and location it isn't that bad. I doubt if a staff member would say that the property was drafty. I look everyday for a house to rent in this area but for the price I can pay there just isn't anything around. I want my kids to finish school where they are and so I feel stuck here. I also didn't know it was a requirement to be a scholar and use all correct grammar to post on this website.

Why is it that whenever someone writes a good review about a place, people assume that the management wrote it? People have different experiences, write you OWN review and be done with it.

I'm extremely sure this was written by a staff member - anyone who has lived here would know it's a complete joke.

this is a bit ridiculous...
I personally work for another complex and hold Horizons to the same standards I hold my employees! They have timely maintenance, good response times from the office if you have to leave a message, and even know some residents by name - and trust me, when you have over 300 units and move in and outs daily, it isnt always easy to keep track!
I live here and am proud to live here... and in my personal and professional experience, the disgruntled former residents (the ones who got evicted from nonpayment of rent or damaged property and were asked to leave) are the ones who write the reviews... so I am sure that 31% rating is a reflection of a less than mature populus, and the office staff has more important things to worry about than writing a review for others to question.
