Parking tends to be just ok. My car has been broken into multiple times (6) since we've lived here. Now the trend seems to be stealing gas out of tanks. Nobody will do anything about it. We aren't allowed to have a neighborhood watch, according to the office, because there isn't a crime problem. But keep reading. Noise levels vary. There seems to be good insulation between apartments because I don't hear neighbors talking or even yelling. I am quite able to hear them beating each other up though. And there's something that just isn't cute about a noise level that includes every racial, ethnic, religious, and gender-based slur that is originating from a child and that noise makes its way into my closed up home to my own child's ears. Grounds- the guys do a good job at keeping things looking good, especially the yard work. But beware that you can't decorate your own apartment on the outside at all because they're going for the clone look. That rule doesn't apply to everyone, but you won't know if it applies to you unless you put out something that management doesn't like. And as a special bonus, the apartment's Christmas lights are up year-round! Hope you're a Christian! It simply isn't that safe here. We have people from nearby neighborhoods coming over and breaking into cars and apartments. One guy was shot dead execution-style just a few years back. My own neighbors had their back door kicked in and left just last year. But that was because of drug deals and owing money. The dealers must not have known that the guy had already gone back to jail. On paper, felons aren't allowed to live in this community and yet I've had several sexual predators come up on my notification that I get through the sheriff's department. children shouldn't go to the playground without an adult escort unless they have a blackbelt in karate. The playground is where the teens who are skipping school hang out and wait to beat up younger kids. Insulation is pretty bad. Our heating bills in the winter for a whopping 1000 square feet are around $180 per month if I keep it at 70. We also get the opportunity to pay for water! We're only paying "half" of the water bill. I gotta hand it to maintenance, seriously. They're given shoddy stuff to work with and repair and they do a good job of it. Most of the maintenance guys have been pretty friendly and do a good job. Office staff on the other hand, how can I put this so it won't be deleted... they're charm-free! I really dread having to even talk to them. They don't seem to understand basics of right and wrong (lying to police to CYA is still wrong). They don't seem to be big into protecting basic human rights. One neighbor who was angry and drunk (nice combination) chased his wife into the parking lot and proceeded to work at strangling her and she tried to start her car to drive off. Office staff later told me that "domestic affairs" are none of their business. I strongly recommend against living here. I still live here because I can't afford to move and I want my children to remain in the same school district. This place stinks, in my opinion. All of this has been my opinion and things that I have witnessed.
