I like these apartments. Easy access to the interstate, shopping and downtown. The pool is great and good area for kids to play at the playground while I do my laundry. Staff is very friendly.

What a crock of ----. Laundry room always gets vandalized, noone goes to the pool because of all the people pissing in it. Staff act like they are from Carmel or Fishers and are too good to deal with any issues.

I agree, meshrny69. The entire four years I lived there, I never found the laundry room near clean, the dryers took several dollars to dry since no one cleaned the lint traps or checked how their working order was, etc. The pool was always green and the people there were extremely rude. I wouldn't have let my children swim in it. They went swimming at friend's houses. The playground hasn't been updated or checked in at least ten years. Did you notice when you moved in the office ladies never mentioned this place has had MULTIPLE fires over the last few decades? At one point, half of it burnt. So I think this posted has to be someone who works there.

I agree, the positive reviews have to come from people working in the office. When we first moved in here we had problems from the start and that should have been a sign to go somewhere else. Whenever there is a problem the staff in the office always acts clueless even when it was the same person giving us contradicting information. The laundry room only has one exit which is a fire code violation. None of the sidewalks are handicap accessible to the apartments which is a state law per ADA. The only place you will find that is the office and the laundry room which were added last year and this year. There is always trash outside that does not belong to me. For $200.00 dollars more a month we are leaving this ---- hole and moving into luxery apartments with a few hundred more square feet and a ton of amenities that horizons fails to offer. The four bedroom apartments at horizons feel like you live in eight cubicals stacked on top of eachother to make 8 rooms of confinment. The laundry room can barely fit a full size washer and dryer and forget about buying front loaders with a pedestal. The dishwasher in our apartment has never worked and we have had them fix it several times and finally gave up. Our fridge has gone out on us twice as well. I will say though that maintence is great about coming quickly to try and resolve the problem. Management just needs to get their heads on straight. I also agree with the above post concerning fires. I did not know about that until after we moved into here. The lights here flicker often and the electrical outlets are shady. The plugs are ill-fitting and we do not use the majority of the outlets do to this and the potential risk of a fire. We have even had an electrical socket fall out of the wall and the wiring detach from simply pulling out a cord. This place is only qualified for a quick fix if you are that hard up for a place to live but if you have the time to look for new home please keep searching this is not a place to call home.

As to the above postings, I think that this is a very sad lot of people. to set around and only make neg. comments. I have only seen the laundry facility in this complex a mess after people who do not care for their fellow man have used it and know for a fact that it is cleaned on a nightly basis. Get a life.

The trash you saw outside that didn't belong to you, did you ever think of picking it up? You sound like someone I would not want to live next door to me or my family. I am thinkng that the office people you dislike so much, asked you to move. Good for them.
