When we decided to move to the West Side we knew that we needed to be someplace safe. When we pulled up to the office both cars of the people that worked here had their windows down and cars unlocked and I thought that is a good sign. Boy, were we wrong. I think that is a sales gimic and the property probably reimburse employees for whatever is guaranteed to be stolen.
One of my first questions when checking the apartments out was about bug problems, they said that we will sometimes see spiders because of all the bushes and that they had people to spray if ever we saw a problem. On move in day there were spider webs everywhere, I wonder if they ever did anything to the apartment other than run a vacume. I have requested to have them come out here and spray and they tell me they will but have never been here to do it. We fog every couple of months because these are not your average spider they are big and black and some of them are Wolf Spiders.
I also asked about the electric bill that they said at the very most would be about $75 and the cheapest I have had is $93 and we froze our but off all winter. They make appointments to come into the apartments for inspections so we lock our dog up and they never show, so I stopped letting them unless one of us are there. Our neighbor locks his dog on the balcony (and the dog hates it) and he does whatever inside and the dog just barks and barks forever. It is so frequent that my dog just ignores it anymore, but it really pisses me off and the office does NOTHING about it. You can hear him 24/7 its like he never goes to work or sleeps because he is constantly making noise, which I dont know if that is because of thin walls or because he is a horses ass.
I cannot even begin to explain how this place does not keep up the grouds. There are beer bottles in the grass, broken in parking spaces or in the middle of the parking lot. Glass from car windows get shattered and nobody cleans it up, in fact, the same glass from when we moved in 6 months ago is still there today. Trash is everywhere. They clean it from the outside so you think they keep it up but they dont. They water the grass every single day. The ground holds so much water you sink even if it hasnt rained in weeks. They worry so much about changing the balloons on the signs that they dont pay any attention to the real problems. They dont return phone calls.
As for the lights outside they are a joke, half of them dont even work and the ones that do are not bright at all.
My mom taught me that if I say something bad I have to say something good. The good thing about Idlewood is ---- the water pressure. Dont waste your money here, you might as well give it to the person that is going to rob you!
