Pretty good place to live

I read the other review and I have to say that my experience has been quite the opposite. I've been at Idlewood for 3 years and am about to renew my lease.
I have a 1-bedroom and it's attractive and a good size. There is a lot of storage space. As a young single female, I was very concerned about safety. While it is always good to be cautious and aware of your surroundings, I have never felt unsafe. The complex is mostly inhabited by college students, young professionals, or families.
I think the grounds are pretty and fairly well-kept. I haven't noticed excessive trash or wet grass. I have been fortunate in that I haven't had a reason to call maintenance in the time I've lived here.
I do agree that there is a small bug problem -- mainly spiders. As far as I know, they spray around the apartment a couple of times a year.
My only issues have been noisy neighbors. The guy who lived above me about two years ago had a motorcycle that he kept by the stairwell and he'd work on it out there, which was annoying. The current occupant went through a phase of yelling at an ex constantly. She has a new man now, so she's reasonably quiet.
The staff has always been very nice and helpful.
Added bonuses are the close proximity to Target, Marsh, restaurants, and Eagle Creek Park.
