This is by far the worst place I have ever lived. Within the first 3 months of living here I started noticing a strange smell coming from my bedroom. I searched all over for the problem and finally my husband said it smelled like rotting meat. Well, I obviously don't keep meat in my bedroom. I was also 5 months pregnant at the time. After a day out we walked in our front door and the smell knocked us over. We immediately went to the office to complain. In the meantime we had to sleep in the second bedroom and keep our bedroom door shut and not allow anyone over because it was sooo embarassing. They conveniently came to check it out when we weren't home and said that they got a dead bird out of our vent. Yeah right!!! It still smelled so they put an ozone machine in our apartment for 12 hours. Noone was allowed in the apartment, not even our dog so we had to find someone to let us stay with them. Guess what'!'! It smelled even worse!!! My husband was furious by this time and went to the manager, who is a b*%#h by the way, and told her that if they didn't start tearing holes in our ceiling and looking for something then he was going to the board of health, especially since I was pregnant. Finally about a week later they cut a hole in our ceiling and found a 20 pound dead racoon!!! Absolutely disgusting. Then there are the spiders and some kind of other bug. They are ridiculous. I have somehow just learned to live with them, but it took me a while. I also hope that you don't get unbelievably rude neighbors like mine. They are 2 adults and run around there apartment at all hours of the night and then have to nerve to stomp on my ceiling when my 6 month old was crying in the middle of the night. Hmmm...if stomping would quiet a crying baby don't you think I would have done that'!'!'! Do not move here!!! I would never recommend this place. The only thing nice about the place is the office staff minus the manager. The only reason we stayed as long as we did is because we did not have enough money to pay a deposit last year for another apartment.

Sure you complain a year after you get evicted for non-payment of rent. But your problem was taken care of within 24 hours of your complaint. As far as the board of health being involved - thats news to me. If they had, we would of been given 30 days to correct the problem. It's people like you that cost apartment complexes money by being evicted for non payment and destroying your apt. etc. carpet stains and leaving trash throughout- that drives up rent increases for everyone else. So until you grow up and become mature enough to actually own your place of living, god help all of us that are stuck living with you in what ever apartment complex you manage to get into!

To the previous response...are you serious?!?!?! I was never once late on my rent and was not evicted!!! When you say we that makes me assume that you are part of the office staff and boy what a great person you sound like!! You apparently need to learn how to read also. I never said that we actually called the health department. I said we threatened to and that is what actually got the stupid ----- to make maintenance cut the holes in our cieling. And another thing...when we left that place was very clean!!! If we were such terrible tenants then we wouldn't have gotten all but $10 back of our security deposit!!
