I moved to Idlewood about two years ago. At first the price and the convience was nice then I had my car broken into within the first few months of living there. Then I noticed the big holes in the fence next to my apartment. When I asked the office to fix it they never did. Then they change the locks on the washer/dryer and fitness room every 6 months or so without letting anyone know so no one can get in unless you take your old key back to the office to get a new one... Also when I got my new car they stole my temporary plates and the complex refused to do anything but then started a neighborhood watch....really...who is actually watching...not them. Also I had neighbors who were arrested...what kind of credit check do they do' Also I have heard of my neighbors getting their house broken into and the complex won't let you break your lease without coughing up some sort of payment...usually 2-3 months rent worth plus a fee for breaking your lease. Lastly, they will bill your for missing a few cents off your rent check and charge you a fee. Also the water/sewage/trash is paid through them...meaning you have to pay them for all of it...and they divide the price by the people in your area...so I am paying far more money for each of these things because my neighbors use a lot of water' Long story short...don't be crazy...don't move here...for your own safety.

Referring to the person above....I am not made because I was late on my rent or evicted. I am actually about to move because of the past problems that I have had with Idlewood. I have also heard of the office not doing anything for a family when their water heater broke and water was all over the floor. I am not mad with the complex I just think that they need to do a better job... Now I have to give them credit for fixing the fence or let me rephrase...puting a sign up for neighborhood watch that got taken down after a week in the midst of the walkway part from the other apartment complex...personally the bad complex next door shouldn't be able to get in.

I think living at Idlewood is great. I have had not one problem when I lived there. As far as your plate being stolen......duh... I think that should be on the inside of your car. The fence..... you can thank the people in the complex next to Idlewood for that,,,and it is their fence but Idlewood is the one that keeps fixing it... just think what it would look like they didn't. I have come to realize that "most" of the people that put "ugly" responces on here are just mad because they didn't get their way about something or they are late on their rent and are about to be evicted. If you are so unhappy then move....Idlewood needs to weed out some of the trouble makers anyway. Have a great day.
