Don't expect to ever talk to the manager.
I have lived at Idlewood for 2.5 years and really like my apartment. The grounds are beautiful and my friends compliment the complex when they visit.
What I find frustrating is that I am never able to actually see or talk to the manager. Last month I called to speak to her about a concern. I was put on hold and a few seconds later was transferred directly into her voicemail. Later that day, a leasing lady called me back with the answer to the question I had left on the manager's voicemail. The same thing happened a few months ago when I called for a different reason. Last week I came to the office to pay my rent. I overheard one of the leasing agents tell the manager that someone was calling for her and her reply was "just throw them in my voicemail". She didn't look overly busy to me and I couldn't understand why she wouldn't take the call. The good thing is that the leasing agents seem to know whats going on and they are always very nice. I just hope those ladies never quit because they seem to be the only ones willing to help!
