Leaving soon... not that heartbroken either

When I moved into Island Club, I did not have ample opportunity to find a new apartment. I had just taken a new job requiring me to move to Indianapolis. When I moved in, it seemed nice. I didn't notice anything that would really make me question moving in here.
Over the last year, I've seen an astronomical amount of ghetto trash move in. Even being in Wayne Township and in the summer time, I'm still amazed at the level of "ghettoness" (I'm educated enough to know that isn't a word, but it gets my point across). If I cook out on my patio, I've got high school kids immediately asking for cigarettes and beer. What do I do' Contribute to the delinquency of a minor, or piss em off and have my car broken into'
Management seems nice, and I know most, if not all, of the staff lives here. They seem extremely superficial though. They are there to collect a check, and that's their biggest concern. Rent prices are higher than they really should be for the area, but what can you do' I asked about renewing my lease and was told that my rent is going to go UP. I think I'll pass on that one.
Overall, it wasn't a bad place to live. But it's definitely on the decline. You'd be better off spending your money on someplace bigger and possibly safer.
