Just drive through the parking lot before looking at an apartment model. Do the broken down Cadillacs and other 20 year old cars tip you off as to what type of place this has become' If you still decide to move here after seeing that, you dug your own grave, pal.

Never saw a single Lexus or BMW here. You must be thinking of a different place. Rusted out Chevys and Cadillacs with black trash bags for windows are the common sight at this place. It is a complete ghetto now because the management is more worried about putting warm bodies in apartments at the expense of providing their residents a suitable place to live. Gotta problem with a neighbor? Be prepared to hear this..."well we can move you to another unit" as opposed to "we will issue a noise complaint to the resident". In this community the good tenants are the ones who suffer and the dirtbags do whatever they want. And 1/2 the residents ARE dirtbags. This is purely a result of extremely poor management and has nothing to do with the area going bad. The managers who have run this place in the past 5 years are not competent to manage a McDonalds.

Man! I thought I was the only one. I live in Island Club in Fort Wayne, and the very samething happen to me. Mangagement here suck ass! My main problem started in Jan.06 til now. We have a dog someone's else dog pooped out front. And because we have a dog we got blamed for it. Then our big problem came Oct.06. We get some want to be black guy and his thug are us baby momma and rugrats next door to me. On a daily basis all you can here is f**k u you're a b**ch all kinds a drama. Well the cops came out at least 2xs. Once this guy total 3 cars in the apartment complex. The police came the guy never came out. I wrote a letter to management stating if he was not removed, I would not renew my lease. I call asking about the the letter, they cant find. When I write them my 30 day notice, they tell me that was not adequate and she did not take my letter as a complaint but as hearsay letter wtf dude. Not to mention all the noise that came from the other building was insane. From 10pm-7am no bullsh*t you could hear the damn neighbors f**king all night long. Her sreams. I was so.....bad to where I had to bang on the wall so they can shut up. I call management the next morning after this went on for 2 weeks straight. Her response was maybe they are trying to have a baby. I told her well i hope there baby comes out with 9toes and 8 fingers. I was so pissed. All I'm saying is rent at your own risk with these people. They are a joke! If you can afford a house get one. Even if you have bad credit there are still programs out there who will work with you.

Amen! Go for the house I did, I got it and I DID NOT have stellar credit. IC is a joke. You could hear everything in those apts!! And to the people that say "so what, it's an apt, it's gonna be noisy". I say do you have ANY home training whatsoever?
To Mr. Fort Wayne. I hope you can move soon, bless your soul. I also could hear my upstairs neighbor doing the deed with his woman. They weren't loud but his bed was, it sqeaked relentlessly. When you have to be at work at 8am you do not want to deal with that. I would beat on the ceiling, he would ignore me of course. And he would clean at the oddest hours. I was awakened @ 4am one morning, the fool was vacuuming!!!! I complained to the office, they were no help.
It's like people lose their minds when they rent.

I hear you. It is a very helpless feeling to be in a situation that you cannot get away from. After a person puts in a full day of work the last thing they want to deal with is some loser neighbor who has nothing better to do than play music @ 150 decibals at 3:30 a.m. Then you bring it up to management and they refuse to help you. Most apartments are just a scam to bleed you out of your money, but this one takes the cake. This is the only place I ever lived where I felt like I had no rights. Management's attitude is basically "shut up, deal with the BS and don't bother us with your complaints. But make sure you get that rent check here on time". I would have loved to meet face to face with somebody from the management company. What a bunch of clueless, incompetent jackasses.
