Horrible with a capital Sucks! From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 9/15/2006 Years at this apartment: 2001 - 2001   We lived in this complex in 2001. We broke our lease after 6 months. We paid the fee to break the lease and then they charged us $100 to clean the place. My wife and I are NEAT FREAKS. Even while we lived in the apartment there was never a speck of dust anywhere. No damage to any carpeting, linoleum etc. At best the only "damage" we did wa a nail in the wall to hang a frame on. (which in most places is considered normal wear and tear!). But we were so happy to get out of this place I would have paid double what they charged. Management is ignorant and rude. The courtesuy office "Gerald" worked for Eagle Creek Park as a park ranger. This apparently gave him the same power as the police to enforce just about everything while he ignored all of the rules. We came home one day to see his patrol car (his normal SUV was parked in his carport) in OUR carport. He was no where to be found and not answering his door. So, we parked behind him, blocking his car so that he would have to find us before he could move it. He banged on our door yelling "Police! Open Up!" I opened the door to find him angrier than I ever seen anyone. He claimed that he could write me a "ticket" so I told him to go ahead and do it, but also don't forget to add on that I disobeyed an "officer of the law" and slammed the door in his face. Eventually I moved the car and he didn't bother us again. When you drive into the comlex you'll think its a great place...beautiful lake and fountains...but its all a smokescreen. Do yourself a favor and turn around and rent someplace else. The apartments are great on the outside but after you move in you'll be treated like a second rate citizen. Repairs are slow, your neighbors will be noisy and rude and no one will do anything to help you. Our first day there our neighbors car was broken into. If you like throwing your money away sign a lease. Otherwise keep looking.
