Island Club

Noisy and questionable tenants, nasty grounds, lecherous maintenance people, water leaks, smoke in my apt because the walls were so thin and everyone around me smoked, grounds not well lit, apts being broken into, and just all around not worth the money I was paying, these are just a few of the things I had to deal with while living there. There is so much more but you get the idea.

They have lowered the rent, and you know what that means, it means things are probably ten times worse than they were than when I lived there, and it was pretty bad when I lived there. Let's face it sometimes lower rent means getting a different "type" of tenant, if you get my drift. The apt I was paying 710.00 a month for, now rents for 529.00. So, if I were you, I'd keep looking, and don't make a pit stop at Island Club, you'll regret it.

If you can't afford a house and you just have to rent an apt. pay a little more and go somewhere else. No apt complex is going to be perfect, but I hear Riverchase and Eagle Chase are fairly nice if you just have to stay on the Westside. If not, I have three words RESEARCH, RESEARCH, RESEARCH!!!!!! Or buy a house, which is what I did, and I thank God everyday that I was able to.
