My fiance and I lived here for a year, and we did not have some of the problems others experienced. Our apartment came with new carpet, however the apartment itself was not cleaned very well after the previous people moved out. Our maintance requests were fulfilled within 3 days of submitting it (however, we only needed to do that twice). Parking was not bad for us - we had tons of parking, but in other areas I can see the problem of parking. And there are only so many spaces directly in front of the door, so walking 15 feet to the door I do not consider to be bad.
Our biggest complaint is probably the kids who play in the street and pop out of nowhere from behind garages, which has happened too many times to count, which I guess is more of a lack of parent supervision problem than the apartment complex. Also, the founatins never worked in the ponds and according to other residents, several requests to fix it never helped.
And the only other annoying thing I guess was that they would give you like a range of days that they might be coming in to change filters, in which you had to have your pets locked up for all those days because they wouldnt come in if they were loose for safety reasons. That was inconvient for our dog, who normally roams the apartment, to be locked up for several days while we were gone. But over all, we didnt think this place was all that bad.. we even lived close to I65 and the traffic never really bothered us.
