This is actually a nice place.
The only problems I've run into are as follows, which, if you keep this in mind when you come here, you will be satisfied.
When I was shown around, I wasn't shown MY apartment to which I would be moving in. Rather, I was shown another apartment further, which happened to be further from the highway. When I was told "Look how quiet it is", I did notice that, yes, it WAS quiet. And then I got placed close to the highway, where it is NOT quiet.
After calling in to express my displeasure, the attitude was one of, "Gee, we're sorry, but, there's nothing we can do'" Really' Because, I could easily move to one of the empty apartments. But, that's not going to happen because then that means someone else would have to live in this one, and then they'll complain too. Or, how about this.. How about putting up a sound barrier' How about making those grass mounds bigger to block the sound' I'm sure people would rather see bigger mounds of grass than to see and hear the highway all day anyway.
Now.. that's my only major complaint. Well.. aside from some of the tenants being morons, but, that's not the complex's fault. And that isn't even on a consistent basis.
I have NEVER seen 1 insect nor 1 spider in my apartment. Not even the little sugar ants. I don't know if that is by design, or, if it's because the air is so dry (read below) that they can't survive.
Regarding Appliances: My dishwasher has never worked right, but, I've not called in about that. It works, but it's just not very powerful.
The refrigerator has an automatic defrost setting which dries the air out of the apartment. I don't see how anyone can say they have mold problems, I can't even keep a plant alive because of the lack of moisture in the air. Of course, the refrigerator pulling the moisture out of the air, also means I have to keep an empty bowl under the thermostat inside to collect the moisture which would otherwise pool up at the bottom inside the fridge.
The kitchen is small. Don't let the code words "quaint", "cute", or "cozy" fool you. And don't fall for the line of, "That way you have less to clean". You'll still have the same amount to clean, but, you'll have such a small space to do it in. Things will pile up more rapidly. The cupboard space is horrendous. Whoever designed the kitchen was thankful he was getting enough money off the deal to make sure he never had to have a kitchen like this.
I would suggest for people to check out the following websites:

Regarding the previous posts on crime' Well.. at first I thought it was just some dumb jerk tenant who wanted to get revenge. Before I moved in, there wasn't a crime reported within 1 mile of this place. But, it appears that crime has gone up. Interestingly enough, I didn't know there was someone breaking into the cars around here. However, a couple months ago, when I got out into my car, I could tell that someone had been rummaging around in it. Things were out of place, and my glove compartment was open. I wasn't missing anything, so I shrugged it off, thinking maybe it had fallen open, or maybe I was being paranoid. In hindsight, it appears I was wrong. You would think that the complex would notify us of these break-ins.
There IS a police presence, however, it is inconsistent, and VERY minor at that. The office will lead you to believe a squad car will do the occasional 'several times a day' security sweep. But, don't hold your breath.
Parking is bad, I don't care what anyone says. Pay the extra for the reserved, covered parking. At least then your guaranteed to know how far you'll walk to your door.
I have had to call maintenance several times, and each time they were surprisingly quick to respond, and the office was quick as well to give a follow up call, which was quite nice.
Don't count on getting Dish Network or Direct TV.
On the good side, I appreciate being very close to the city, but, still on the outskirts. The far majority of the tenants all seem to be professional individuals. I have never seen refuse lying around, to include the animal 'depositories'. I'm confident that, although there may be the occasional moron, I'm not living in a neighborhood full of rednecks, hillbillies, or glorified trailer trash.
I've got mixed emotions, but, if I decide to renew my lease, I will definitely be moving farther from the highway.
If you come see this place, and keep in mind what I've warned you of, then, I'm sure you'll like it.
I don't know what everyone's beef is with Tiffany. She DOES have a type-A personality, which some people just don't like. I think she is so desirous to do her job that maybe she just comes across strong. gkZ41df9CgXQPfm8K2A7
