Well, they told me that I couldn't see the apartment I would be living in due to someone still living there for another month. They told me I had a fireplace and that is the only reason I signed my lease when I did. They said it was the last unit they had with a fireplace and he had given his notice to vacate, so I should secure my apartment. They day opened my door for the first time, I found NO fireplace. I called the office to make sure I had the right apartment and they said they never told me I had a fireplace. Next, several cars were broken into. One car sat in the parking lot for 5 months with a flat tire with nothing done about it. Party after party after party going on downstairs in an apartment that is occupied by the son of a lease holder. She doesn't live there but tells the apartments she does. He lives there and several of his friends terrorize people in the building. One even went as far as to urinate on someones door, as well as down the hallway. They party til all hours of the day and night and have no problem sporting a pink bong on the front porch for everyone to see. Raccoons. The building has been infested with RACCOONS since the day I moved in. I've called the office several times, visited the office several times and all I get is a smile and a "it will be alright". One of the women in the office went as far as to say, with a giggle, " and you guys wanted a fireplace, now I bet your happy you don't have one so the raccoons wont get in." I didn't think it was that funny. Certified letters have even been sent to the corporate office with no response. Nothing started to happen about anything until the police had to be called several times for the intoxicated urinating non-resident. I would NEVER recommend ANYONE moving here. They finally removed the raccoons but to my knowledge never removed the fecal matter and urine soaked insulation that still sits above our apartments. I've contacted the Mayors Action Center as well as the Health Dept and NOONE seems to care at all. I truly hope that people read this and seriously think twice before signing their name to anything at Keenland Crest.
