Please do not be fooled by Kim's calm, nice facade! She will jump through hoops to move you in, but will do absolutely NOTHING to meet your needs! I cannot stress what a total piece of crap this place is! My mom, my 2 y.o. daughter, & I lived there w/ housing assistance for 1 year before the Housing Agency put our townhome into ABATEMENT (they stopped paying them b/c of their code violations)! We lived in unit 5422, & from the first month the air conditioner leaked water onto the wall & down to the floor were they'd leave it for weeks. Before we knew it, we were sloshing through cold water on our hallway carpet! Then came the mold! Because they absolutely REFUSED to replace the moldy carpet, even with a note from my mom's doctor, the carpet began to grow green & black spots on it! When we thought that they couldn't possibly screw us over anymore, the caulk on the downstairs toilet became unsealed & EVERYTIME we flushed dirty water would come up from the floor around the toilet. It remained like that for months despite numerous calls to the office. I finally found out that the actual toilet had been installed wrong from the beginning & they had just been recaulking it when ever they needed to! The actual director of IHA came down to see the complex b/c EVERY SINGLE UNIT HAD FAILED INSPECTION! We called the health department, & it turns out that they were very familiar w/ James, the manager & has been screwing ppl for years! Now they're saying that WE owe THEM $300 bucks but keeps avoiding us when we call to ask why! If you've been tricked by them & have already moved in, don't worry. They'll borrow about 60 maintenance men from other complexes & send 10 of them to your unit to "fix" everything the day before section 8 is to come & inspect.
