Lake castleton is not very animal friendly. I had to fight to keep my dog. (For all of you animal lovers you know is is not that easy to just give up a pet) Took me a month to convince the office that my dog was not a rotweiler and that she was a shar-pei labroador mix. After I had a letter from the vet stating what she was; They still didn't think that was enough proof. They said she "looked" like a rotweiler and I had a month to get rid of her. So, I went out and had a certified breed specialist look at my dog and state that she had not one ounce of rottweiler in her. I also had another breed specialist come with me during the meeting with the apartment complex. Then, once I gave them that documentation. They let off and let me keep that dog.

I personally think that they should let all breeds of dogs in the apartment complex. Just because they are on the so called "breed restriction list" doesn't mean their aggressive. It's all in how you raise them. I have seen many Pit Bulls, Dobermans, and Chow Chow's who are as sweet as can be, I have also seen an Collie rip the arm off a vet before. It's not the breed it is the person who raises them.
