First of all, it really bothers me to see how some people are completely blindsided about how bad this complex really is. The crime rate just in that complex alone is too high for comfort. The "safety and security" front is a complete joke. Just because there are cameras around doesnt mean ---- people!! I doubt they even work because those apartments are so run down. My apartment recently got broken into and talk about a complete lack of interest. The staff were no where near concerned about helping their residents', all they wanted was to make sure the rent was paid on time. And even that was a joke.

My rent was increased $60/month and for that tiny, trashy apartment, definitely not worth it. I would rather take my nice things and my money else where. P.S. If you have nice things (big tv's, cameras, expensive jewerly) make sure you lock it up and when moving in, make sure no one is looking...because guaranteed your ---- will get ripped off!

Move to any other place, but here! I work at the hospital right next door and I am more than willing to make a drive and pay more than to live in that --------!

And as for people calling Lake Castleton "Lake Compton," they hit it right on!
