From your initial view, everything seems dandy at Lake Clearwater. The staff is nicer than nice... but having lived here for over a year, the reality sets in. There hasn't been a steady person on the cleaning staff since I moved in. The halls are never swept, and bugs accumulate in the light fixtures. Bulbs in the common areas burn out, and no one replaces them. The parking could not get any worse, there are never enough spots, and if you park in the handicapped you get a ticket, and if you park in the vacant lot next door, you get towed. There have also been at least 6 incidents of car break-ins in the past few months, and there is a long waiting list for covered parking. When I moved in, I was told the rent was controlled, and now that seems to have disappeared. The property is going downhill. Caveat Emptor.
