We moved into Lakes of Windsor as we consider it a luxury-type apartment, fairly new (about 5 years old) and something that you don't have to be ashamed to show to your parents and friends. :) We live in one of the larger apartments (the Buckingham I think) and we are pretty satisfied with the price, size and amenities included. We did some extensive comparisons with apartments on the Northside, Northwest, West side of town and we felt we found a great bargain for it's size and location (about 15-20 min drive from downtown). One of the nicer features our apartment has is the walk-in washer/dryer room. We did not find many apartments that had this option. Fire place, decently sized kitchen, and vaulted ceilings are also a nice touch and a big plus is that they allow pets (up to small dogs I believe.) If you are moving to Indy, you should at least take the time to check it out.

One last note is to ask about discounts they offer to professionals such as Eli Lilly employees.
