Lakes of Windsor is awesome. The staff is exceptional and maintenance is quick to fix repairs. I absolutely love living here. Some of the other comments on here are quite ridiculous. For example, the individual who mentioned being intimimdated by "brown" people walking around.... are you serious' First of all, let's use some current "people friendly" terms here because you sound as if you have the education of a second grader. I welcome anyone considering to live her to come here in the evenings and view people of all ethnicities walking around taking advantage of the fact that they live in a safe community. I highly doubt you will be intimidated by anyone. As for the geese poo.... one cannot expect to live in a community with surrounding lakes and not have geese poo. What matters to you more' Lake or random geese droppings'
This community is great and I highly recommend it to anyone!

Compared to your opinion, no one else is right? What is important to someone else isn't your concern I see. Frankly, there WERE QUITE a lot of peoples of another country origin living there in 2006-2007 when I was there. I wasn't afraid of them, but we in the US have been told by the news that there are several cells of terrorists in our country who are not active at this time. Who knows who or where they are? Of course we can't go accusing everyone, but maybe we don't WANT to live by so many. For myself, I felt living BY them might be safer. LOL As to the goose poop, not only was there WAY too much of it, but the geese were mean and everywhere. Many communities monitor the overpopulation by moving the nests I was told by a L of W employee. They don't. But he did advise me I could carry a bat to protect myself as I walked my dog, so long as I was attacked first. It happened that my dog was attacked and chased more than once. In the end, to each his own. Everyone's opinion counts here believe it or not. So thank you for yours too!
